Basic Psychic Self-Defence

"Any psychic attack which comes up against a stronger defence rebounds threefold on the attacker."

Psychic attack can be intentional or non-intentional. Attitude to the attack is important - adopt an attitude of calm confidence and positivity. Fear is a natural defence mechanism but can also sap strength if not dealt with in a positive way. Be aware of feeling fear and look at why you feel fear, then deal with it.

The psychic self-defence exercises require a strong will and visualisation and should be accompanied by forceful mental rejection of the attack, WITHOUT wishing harm on the attacker. Harm should never be willed.

Exercises

1) Sit comfortably and relax fully. When you are ready, breathe in a bright blue light and as you breathe out feel it filling you body. When you feel completely full of the blue light, begin to push it out, so that it begins to surround the outside of your body. When your whole body is surrounded, imagine a hard shell being formed around the blue light, totally enclosing you and keeping you from harm. Say to yourself 'I stand in circle of light that nothing may cross.' This whole exercise may be enforced on a daily basis if necessary.

2) Trace the banishing pentagram with your forefinger (or trace it mentally) in the direction of the attacker. It can be helpful to see the attack in some form, i.e. as a black cloud. Mentally reject the attack and see it's image dissipate before the banishing pentagram.

3) Again sit comfortably and relax. Visualise your surroundings. Imagine large open portcullises in every corner of the room. Then one by one Slam! The portcullises shut, leaving you safe and protected within.
